Very personal and unpublished. Permission granted by a prominent person in Spann's life to get the truth out provided source remained anonymous because of all the erroneous reports that he was kicked and beaten to death and shot with his own weapon before being bitten. Some *publications* have even gone as far as to blame him for the uprising in which he died. However, he was bitten, his throat torn out, and was already dead before being beaten or shot. There is incontrovertable proof of this, but was so sensational it was not released to the public because it could have impacted the John Walker Lindh connection.
Maybe you should watch Lindh's trial. It's up to you whether to take my word or not.

I am sure Lindh's trial will be all over FR. Not that I am not taking your word for it; I had not seen that info. And there are knee jerkers and story embellishers around, I am sure you'd agree. I hope for the widow Spann that this is not so, in order to not add to her grief.
