Who left the dimensional door open?

Telepathic Football Threatens Chilean Teens

VILLA SAN RAFAEL, Chile (Wireless Flash) -- Forget Bigfoot or the Mothman. The newest paranormal creature is a four-legged football.

Believe it or not, a creature matching that exact description has been sighted threatening teenagers in Villa San Rafael, Chile.

Researchers at the Calama UFO Center in Chile claim the mysterious menace has wings, a face like a large bulldog and is "shaped like a rugby football with legs."

Paranormal researcher Dr. Virgilio Sanchez-Ocejo isn't sure if the creature is one of those goat-sucking chupacabras, but admits both animals telepathically communicate with humans.

The winged football is just one of hundreds of strange creatures that have been terrorizing Chile since 1999 and Dr. Sanchez-Ocejo suspects the mysterious beings are entering Chile through a dimensional doorway.

What great doggie stories...indeed, that Lulu is some gal...needing a cooked pizza for her tummy

Yes, bassets do run away, you always need to be careful with them...they have such a great nose, and they get on a scent and just disappear...more than once, Helga would disappear on us...one time when we first moved into our current house, I used to have to walk all three of my dogs, because we did not have a cyclone fence up...I turned my back on Helga, and dropped her leash for no more than 5 seconds and she was gone...I just could not find her...I panicked as it was going on to evening time, and sent my husband out to look for her....

He finally found her a couple of miles from home...and bassets just wont come when you call them...they are so stubborn..they hear you just fine, they just expect you to find them, they will never find you...when he finally found her, she was sitting in a clump of trees, near a small lake, just relaxing and waiting for him to get her...

I was so worried waiting for him to return..then I heard him hollering and whacking the ground with a big tree limb...all of a sudden, here came Helga, running as fast as her chubby basset legs would carry her...she was scared my hubby was going to whack her with that tree limb...

The real estate gal who sold us this house, told us her best friend had a basset hound...she said she had to give it away, because every time she turned her back, that dog run off, looking behind her the whole time, seemingly laughing and snickering that she was so clever to have escaped...the woman said she gave that dog away because she was afraid she would kill her...

So, yes Palo, bassets are absolutely notorious for running away, its just in their nature...and they are also complete chow hounds...they love to eat, as you know...

Bassets...the world is better and funnier for having them...

Yes, indeed, Helga was Queen of all she surveyed, and she knew it...she even had my hubby trained to buy her special bakery cookies each morning....when Helga had gotten so old, and was no longer eating her dog food, but she loved her cookies...and my husband felt that store bought brands of cookies were not good enough for his girl...so each morning on his way home from work, he would stop into local bakeries, and the bakeries at the supermarket, and buy her special cookies....cookies and water were all that lived on for the last few months of her life...

And during that time, she did not even have to get up to get her treats and water...she had her special quilt on the floor at the foot of the bed, and there she curled up...my husband would go to her, and hand feed her the cookies, and bring her silver bowl with fresh cool water, right to her...

By this time, she was so old, and greying, but it was touching to see my hubby, who normally never paid much attention to any of our many years worth of animals, go out of his way to ease Helgas slow decline...

She touched his heart in a way I had not seen him feel before towards an animal...we sure do miss her, she was as you say a 'diva'...

lol Helga was queen in every way
I see she rushed right to mommy
when she thought your hubby was goin' to smack her with that tree limb
as fast as her short fat basset hound legs would carry her
I've heard the excuse they dart, run, take off, and refuse to come back when called
cause they are so absorbed following a scent
I don't buy it
they are naughty girls
it's too bad cause I love giving my dogs freedom
my new solution is to attach Lulu's leash to Happy's leash when we trek on the desrt together
then they take off together
let Happy be stuck walking Lulu lol
Happy is the fastest dog in the west and Lulu has to run her chubby legs off
Love, Palo

Hi OK - I just got to really read your ratty story. The file is of one of Charlie's ancestors-identical look. When Charlie looks at me it is a connection I treasure and he does too, I like to think.

Hi Palo. I finally made it home from work. I am pretty tired today. Just put on spaghetti sauce and whipped up some veal cutlets...water is boiling for the spaghetti.

What have I missed today? Everyone seems to be so busy chatting.
