Telepathic Football Threatens Chilean Teens
VILLA SAN RAFAEL, Chile (Wireless Flash) -- Forget Bigfoot or the Mothman. The newest paranormal creature is a four-legged football.
Believe it or not, a creature matching that exact description has been sighted threatening teenagers in Villa San Rafael, Chile.
Researchers at the Calama UFO Center in Chile claim the mysterious menace has wings, a face like a large bulldog and is "shaped like a rugby football with legs."
Paranormal researcher Dr. Virgilio Sanchez-Ocejo isn't sure if the creature is one of those goat-sucking chupacabras, but admits both animals telepathically communicate with humans.
The winged football is just one of hundreds of strange creatures that have been terrorizing Chile since 1999 and Dr. Sanchez-Ocejo suspects the mysterious beings are entering Chile through a dimensional doorway.

Coyotes were re-introduced in New York a couple years ago. (Animal rights groups did this to try and thin the deer herd of all things...)
Didn't work. The coyotes went after cats and dogs, considering most domestic animals have no idea what to do in a real fight.
See them around sundown at Drum, well after sundown at Sill. They sit in the bushes a handfull of feet from you and watch.
The powers that be at both bases figured out that soldiers were leaving MRE scraps for the wild doggies. Soon enough, the coyotes learned that soldiers have food.
Maybe they finally got a good idea at Sill and Drum to try and teach soldiers and coyotes not to associate too much. (Dangerous for the coyotes, stupid for the soldiers.)
I do miss Sill, though. Was pretty out there. 'Course the bugs made things interesting. (Sill has several 'creeks' that run through it giving rise to squadrons of mosquitoes....)
I grew up in what once was very rural woodland. Now it's all developments and roads. Learned early on how to navigate by accurate guesswork. My Drill Seargents said I was pretty spooky with that.
*Shrugs* Anyone can learn to do it. During the day, it goes along the lines of, "Where does the sun rise and set from here.. and what time is it now?" At night it's, "What stars are visible here at this time of year?"
Would love to move further into the sticks here. This area is getting too developed for my tastes. (I really don't like to see my neighbors in their boxer shorts in the morning.)
