Telepathic Football Threatens Chilean Teens

VILLA SAN RAFAEL, Chile (Wireless Flash) -- Forget Bigfoot or the Mothman. The newest paranormal creature is a four-legged football.

Believe it or not, a creature matching that exact description has been sighted threatening teenagers in Villa San Rafael, Chile.

Researchers at the Calama UFO Center in Chile claim the mysterious menace has wings, a face like a large bulldog and is "shaped like a rugby football with legs."

Paranormal researcher Dr. Virgilio Sanchez-Ocejo isn't sure if the creature is one of those goat-sucking chupacabras, but admits both animals telepathically communicate with humans.

The winged football is just one of hundreds of strange creatures that have been terrorizing Chile since 1999 and Dr. Sanchez-Ocejo suspects the mysterious beings are entering Chile through a dimensional doorway.

What letter of the alphabet is Sue Grafton up to? She has a huge following here in San Francisco. I read in an interview with her that she said when she's done with the alphabet she's going to do numbers (one is for ..etc).

I haven't read her though. I'm not big on mysteries, but I do love Sherlock Holmes! I just read that Jude Law is going to play Sherlock Holmes on the big screen and I think that's great! Frankly, I'm so into the net that I don't read any books anymore. I have so many books here just gathering dust though. I am eventually going to get rid of them.

I can't believe I slept till 10 a.m. today! I got up at 5 a.m. then ordered organic cotton tampons online (hey I found a great price on them! No tax no s/h!! If someone is interested they can buy them here Natural FemPro).

I love to shop on the internet for bargains! And I love to not have to go anywhere to buy stuff. Well especially since I don't have a car! But also shopping for bargains is really cool. I usually check ebay first, then after that I go to google and put in discount blah blah. And it will come up.

I really have a great time shopping for bargains on the net for things I need.

A couple of weeks ago I needed electric toothbrush replacements - pronto. I went to Walgreens and was in sticker shock. $22!!! So I thought, ok, I'll buy a pack bc I really need it, but I'm going to get the rest from ebay, where I'm sure I'll find a better price, and I was right. For the same price you can get at least 3 packs at ebay.

I love researching on the net!

Not long. Depending. It can take up to 3 weeks. It's really easy to pay people too, with Paypal. At Paypal you sign up and when you want to pay someone it's just taken from your acct. You just put in their email addy.

I haven't told you about the story about the vacuum cleaner bags yet. I needed vacuum cleaner bags and was pricing them at ebay. No discounts. So I had to pay for them at the corner hardware store for $3.59 plus CA. tax (8½% - outrageous!). So I thought okay I'll buy a couple of packs so I don't run out. Especially since I hadn't found any bargains. My friend found some of the exact same type of bags (Hoover A) and paid $2.99! For FOUR in a pack not THREE like me!

Needless to say that upset me and I had to phone Peter Lilycat for support. He told me that "sometimes you can't buy things for a bargain". Made me feel better but then I had a thirst for cheaply priced vacuum cleaner bags and I did find it here Vacuum Express

Now they have Hoover A for $5 for 12 and no s/h or tax on orders = $20!

Howdy there Palo, and All, glad to see the thread is still jumping...Today, Palo, luckily the sun is shining here in Western Washington, and my windowsills are full of pots of daffodils...spring surely is just around the corner...

Yes, I did have a real adventure in the big city last weekend, with the hubby tasting all the local brews...In just a few short weeks it will be St Patricks Day, and the hubby will make his way to our wonderful local Irish Pub and Restaurant, O'Blarneys....every St Pats day is spent there, eating, drinking, and marching and singing along with the Pipers who always come, in full dress with kilts, and their bagpipes....we do have our adventures, simple as they are, they are enough to keep us folks here happy...

(Hmmm... me thinks I'd better wash my hair..and mend me hose.. The old boys feathers are gettin ruffled...and that pesky Mistress Goody is sniffin the wind...)

When the word gets out that Gran has been careened and her bottom attended to - it will serve as a salutary lesson to the other sailorettes. I must think on how to deal with the treachery of my mistress of the scuttlebutt, the good snitch Palo, who has taken to rendering aid and, for all I know, comfort to the lovelorn habs.

By the nightgown of the virgin what have we here…. The deck's been scrubbed the bunk made up, my wench's hammock lashed and stowed. The scuppers cleaned I can even see the daylight filtering though. The bright works polished to a gleam her skirts and stays and furbelows have vanished from my sight. Where is the holy hose that decorated the binnacle since two bells and the odor of her rum and smoke have gone…Jasmine fills the air. Looks like a cabin of a Perfumed Pince, an Admiral, a Lordling of the Seas.

I think I saw my inamorata a while ago a washing her hair hard by an open book – two strange phenomena upon a single watch. I know she's heard of the plan for wench Goody to train our crew of thespians, and methinks that grannie wants to play fair Juliet. I wonder how far she could spit from the balcony.

lol the decadent hedonist is back home
First we took Lulu and Happy to park
Turns out Bill can't stand leashing Lulu and Happy together and having to trot to keep up with them when they take off together
So I got stuck walking Lulu
She dragged me all over park and stuck her nose in every gopher hole
The decadent hedonistic life is very exhausting
Love, Palo

Hi there Palo...I just think, now that the hubby and I are creeping up on our 'senior' times, and have our son raised, took care of our parents, and literally have very few responsibilites anymore, we just throw caution to the wind, and do as we please....we just believe in having a grand time, wherever we may be....be careful now, soon enough we will be knocking at your door before you know it...we just must see the famous Palo, and her famous sidekicks Happy and Lulu, and the gracious man who is your hubby...

I am same as you
readin' in bed used to be my favorite thing
but since I've gotten on line, all I do is post
girl in swimmin' pool said her hubby buys cartons of books at auctions
and if Bill and I follow her home in car she will give me books
so on friday we did
I'm not into true romances
altho in junior high they were my favorite thing to read
fiction 'bout serial killers in NYC is not for me either
I like stories where the detective is like okimhere
and you get to read what she had for lunch
Love, Palo
