Donald G. Arnold is a Vietnam veteran and president of his neighborhood association. He was named a "citizen of the year" by Maryland in 2000 for his work with police in southeast Baltimore to stop drug dealers and make the city safer.

If we could force DC to accept Montgomery County, Prince George's County, Baltimore Count, Southern Frederick County, Frederick City and Baltimore City in exchange for Statehood - well, then Maryland might stand a chance of returning to a non-fascist state.

The alternative is the rest of the counties secceeding and joining West Virginia.

Otherwise we're all screwed.

Does seem to be on the wrong side of it. However, having Bush be explicitly on the "right" side of it would be extremely bad for public relations. By pushing this particular case, which has "not guilty" and "RKBA shall not be infringed" written all over it (lose American rights for an oppressive absurd "felony" in a foriegn country? COME ON!), Bush will actually restore some of our rights.

Remember, the purpose of the "Devil's Advocate" was ultimately to advance righteous causes.
