Is Chelsea a democrat?
Unknown.
Has she expressed her political views?
Yes. Those that she has expressed fall into the lieberal category.
Is she a legal adult
Yes.
If you answered yes to these question, then I think she is fair game.
2 definites, 1 unknown (well, considering the answer to the second, change that to probable). To which, I add one more overriding question;
What is the basis of the attack? If it's her political views, fire at will; if it's her looks (as bad as they are and might be in any given picture), at least I think we're better than the lieberals on that score.

Many people are not/can not access FR during the weekend, that is why we are keeping this in breaking news for a while. Umm, are you seriously saying that the moderators don't have the ability to place a link to an existing thread in the sidebars -- you have to start a new thread? That's really odd.

I agree with this poster! It seems like it was folly and free-for-all during the Clinton administration to trash everyone, especially the looks of Chelsea, and it continues.
It does not elevate us on a public forum, to downgrade the looks of the daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton. I was disgusted by how we, who call ourselves patriots and some christians, used a thread to say we vomited looking at this girl
Sorry to say, I can't invite people I know to come read FR, when we act in this manner. JimRob runs a wonderful Grass Roots site, let's all honor him, and stick to what is important. Thanks for posting this, riley1992

It occurs to me that maybe we need a front-end-of-brain filter like what used to appear using TRN on the early days of usenet.
This program posts news articles to thousands of machines throughout the enter (sic) civilized world. Your message will cost the net hundreds if not thousands of dollars to send everywhere. Please be sure you know what you are doing. Are you absolutely sure you want to do this? y/n
Might I propose:

Thanks too, JimRob, for giving so many of us, otherwise seemingly powerless,
a weapon for fighting the war on terrorism, and the enemies of freedom and our country.

I am still fuzzy on what's OK and what's not OK. Jim Robinson asked
"Please try to stay on topic (politics)." Yet, I see a lot of threads such as
The Neverending Story (The New Christian Chronicles) posted without complaint on a regular basis and they most definitely are not about politics.
When I posted a thread about a popular brand of software which I felt may be biased concerning which websites it restricted, the thread was pulled. I feel that such an issue is relevant for discussion on this forum because it is an example of how the scourge of "political correctness" intrudes on our daily life. I wasn't trying to start a racist flamethrowing contest (which is why I am guessing it was pulled), I was trying to bring attention to what I feel is a legitimate problem that the liberals are constantly and quietly forcing upon us. Can you please clarify?

This post is a fairly good representation of just how far in the muck and mire Free Republic has sunk.

Hey. I knew your dad. And he WAS, er, um, Jimmy Hoffa. (Although he goes by something else now.) He'll alway be a cornerstone in our building, um, organization.

Sorry, Elsie, but pictures don't take up that much bandwidth. The images are not stored on FR's server. They load from the source.

Yes. As Jim Robinson said this is a conservative site. Democrats, commies, skinheads, and other totalitarian types are fair game.

as The Neverending Story (The New Christian Chronicles) posted without complaint on a regular basis and they most definitely are not about politicsI beg to differ. Even though it is a religious veneer, it is most DEFINITELY political!!!!!!

Well, I guess I should have read more of the thread before I posted it, but I'm still fuzzy on what sort of posts are frowned upon in this forum. I am not trying to ruffle any feathers here. If someone will explain it to me, I'll be more than happy to comply.

(I think it may have more to do with how we play together here in the sandbox, than the actual toys that we bring in.
If we are nice, and not snatch things out of others hands, and do not tear up everyone's sandcastles and be obnoxious and throw sand around and hit and scream, then just about anything seems to go.)
