I looked up the meaning of the word "Al-Qaeda" the other day to see if it does mean "foundation" as the Arab aplogists say. Not so.

The word "al-qaeda" derives from the ancient Chaldee/ Hebrew words for " the spark that lights the fire, the first, the point of the spear, the first light of the crescent moon [of Islam], the beginning, the new, the strike, the calamity".

From 1300 to 1600's in Fez, Morocco, terrorism against Jews broke out among the Moslems and was called "al Khada".

Something to think about. ---

The title of Isaac Asimov famous book "Foundation" is "Al Qaida".

The book is jokingly refered to as OBL's Mein kampf. Objective: destroy the Empire by using fake religion as a tool.That is something to think about
