...and I have a feeling I'm all asked out after all the great, fun discussion yesterday. I'll try to think of something, though.
Do we have a chapter discussion today on our other thread? I haven't read Chapter 3 yet, so I'll be way behind on that thread too...
Have you guys seen the picture of Merry and Pippin sitting in the boat on the banks of the Anduin? I'm thinking that must have been a scene or snippet of dialogue that was cut. Pippin looks very pensive in that scene, which has me wondering what they're talking about--they both look terribly serious. Anyone have any ideas on that? It looks like Boromir is standing in the boat next to them, which means this would probably be the scene where Boromir is feeling the pull of the ring and Frodo senses it.
Well, that's the best I can do at this early hour...I'll see if I can come up with a better question as the day wears on....
BTW, I've been meaning to mention this for weeks, did y'all notice how carefully PJ&Co. reproduced Gandalf's fireworks during Bilbo's party? The first one they show looks like a tree, just like the book talks about, then there are the butterflies and spears too--I thought that was a really nice attention to detail...

I liked YOUR question (but there was no picture posted in response...)
I noticed that when I read Chapt. 1 for the other thread.
My husband built an indoor hobbit hole for our cat Frodo Baggins. He loves it.

(1) Don't jump! That's what Gollum's for!
(2) Hey! I didn't (a) choose the screenie, nor (b) boast about having to restrain myself so as not to whump men at shooting, pool, horse-riding, arm-wrestling and beer-can crushing, Missie! (Not sure I got all the details right on the psychon.)

Did you see my note above about that "ring theme" matching the "dark lord" theme?
