For the same reason we don't have many spies over in Afghanistan. Take a look at your skin color, facial features, etc. You don't look a thing like an Afghanii or a typical muslim. You do, however, look like your typical KKK member.
Granted there are muslims that are in the FBI and other agencies. However the people over in Afghanistan really only trust their brothers and immediate family. How do you secretly crack that?
