Jim isn't a hall monitor. He has asked you not to post garbage on the forum. That isn't good enough for you?

It's extrememly RUDE to dismiss his request. Shame on you. You might want to leave if you find his requests "burdensome."

She has basically said that if Jim does not spell out consequences then people will probably not follow his guidelines.

I don't know if you get it, but you are not being intellectually honest here. You are implying that she is posting garbage when in fact she is simply expressing concern over other people posting it and how to effectively get them to stop.

It seems to me that GFTB has a problem understanding Jim's request. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand what Jim is saying: Don't post the kinds of things he listed. Now let's say Gal wants to post something that Jim has listed as undesirable. What do you think is going to happen? Think hard. Uh....how about the post is going to get pulled. And if you repeatedly do it, you are going to get tossed off the forum.

What sort of other consequences could there be? Do you think Jim is going to come over to the posters house and force them to bed with out pudding after the first offense? Maybe for the second offense they get grounded?

It really isn't that complicated. If he doesn't want it here, its going to get yanked and if you insist on doing things that you have been asked not to do, then don't be surprised when you are not welcome to post here.
