Yes he is. So is Buchanan.
THATS who my frikkin reply was to, numnutz.
I hope your comments in 229 was an attempt at humor, but I don't think it was because you flamed others on this thread for doing the same thing I did.
What I did and others who included your name in their reply was to draw your attention to the comments. It is *usually* a compliment (yes, I was complimenting you) when someone does that.
Now relax. And I will never reply or invite your comments, no matter how much I enjoy of agree with them, again.
Guilty on a few double posts here.

Way too many Vanities--What is you favorite-------..........--------?
Good advice! I'd like to cross-stitch that sentence on a pillow, have a bumper sticker made of it, and have it placed on a T-shirt! :-)
Do NOT use "My Title" titles. This will also help to reduce the number of duplicates.
Oops!, I'll bet thats me he's talking to. Sorry about that Jim.
Exactly. Sometimes we conservatives can be our own worst enemies.
We've all noticed how Democrats stick together about the same way that Arabs/Muslims do. You never hear any of them trashing their own. Why can't we do the same?
One doesn't have to be a republican to be a conservative icon.
I don't think Ted Kennedy will be joining Bush's reelection campaign anytime soon, as Fulani did with Buchanan's bid.
Three cheers and a BUMP! I'm not a Republican Party Loyalist, and I don't "blindly" follow anyone like some do. I'll criticize when and where necessary, but I insist on keeping the debate intellectually honest. Frankly, I've found myself on the opposite side of people here whom I've known and respected for several years, more often than I'd like. Still, I won't bend or alter my position for political expedience, as some here would have me/us do. In my sometimes not-so-humble opinion, it's all the things that have been done in the name of "political expedience" that have gotten us to where we're at today.
Speaking for myself only, my priorities for the next year would have to include continuing to root out terrorists and "eliminate" them when found; protect the tax cuts that got passed last year and not let the Democrats "freeze" or alter them in any way; Immigration Reform & Securing our borders (which does NOT include amnesty for anyone!); Education Reform that INCLUDES vouchers to families to give them their tax dollars back to send their children to a school of THEIR choice - not the Governments; A commitment to providing for the national defense and increasing funds to the Military to ensure our borders are protected; A re-vamp/re-visit of our CIA & FBI policies regarding information gathering on foreign terrorist groups (get rid of the Toricelli Policy!) and; Legislation that protects the unborn, welcomes them into life, and severely restricts abortion and eliminates ALL federal funding for abortion not only here in the U.S. but in foreign aid to other countries as well.
And that's just for starters. :)
I think it is a good thing to discuss these issues. This is a fairly high profile forum and is doubtless viewed by people in positions of influence who use it and others to get a feel for how the people really think and in that regard I think we should be able to discuss these issues freely. I support President Bush and our armed forces 100% in the war effort, but I am less in agreement with some of his other policies as well. That is normal. We are not always going to agree with any president.
Oh geez!!! I'm terribly sorry! Forgive me, I didn't have my morning coffee yet, looking back I was a bit grumpy. Please accept my apology.
I thought you might have needed a coffee fix :)
The only one who understands my posts is Eleanor Roosevelt, anyhow. I just asked.
More like an IV Drip. Boucheau, apologies to you as well. Gee, I was very abrasive this morning.
That settles it, no more FR until after cup o' java #4 in the morning.
Your statement and your quoted article offer no documented proof. Protubering government budgets are a serious matter. Your statement here and your referenced post accomplish no constructive criticism on the growth of government.
