Disposing of the American Flag

Remember never burn a complete flag as it is still "Old Glory". Cut away the field of blue stars then it is no longer our flag. The pieces may then be burned separately for disposal.

The Boy Scouts even go so far as to cut away the stipes from one another and burn them separately or one at a time.

I feel bad for not knowing all the criteria for respecting our Flag. I was in the Army 25 years ago.

I have a Flag hanging inside my front porch, stars up and to the left. It's unlit, but inside.

I also have two Flag stickers in my truck windows, both facing as if they were real and the truck moving, I know technically that makes one wrong.

My Flags have been flying long before September 11.

Isn't it good to fly the Flag as long as it is not disgraced?

If we are going to get technical, what does it mean when the Flag is made in China and flown on an imported vehicle?

I'm not trying to be funny or difficult.
