The "common man" segment is pitiful. Common men are common because they talk about themselves. None of them answer questions or know how to debate. They just emote.
The best segment so far has been Jay Sekulow last night. Dobson was fine, but, while his segment was packed with information, it dragged.
I'm watching America Now with Jim Cramer and Larry Kudlow right now. It's snappy, there's been six guests, and there's point-counterpoint.
The successful cable shows have that, in spades.
Alan's going to have to bring on real opponents, or set up confrontations. He couldn't get any real hard-line pro-choicers tonight, apparently. It would have helped.
You can't let Alan get preachy. If he gets preachy, the show's dead.
