Maybe we should send emails to MSNBC saying how great the show was.........think that would help to keep Alan on?

Beat me to the post! :-)
I'm e-mailing them. If it doesn't help it can't hurt!

I have always appreciated Alan Keyes. He is probably the most articulate, common sense speakers in America today.

Good luck with your new endeavor, Mr. Keyes. I wish you all the best...God Bless you.

Hey Richard!

Did you catch the show tonight? Great show! Think of how many liberals, Democrats, non-politicals, and other pro-choice people Alan reached with his pro-life logic in just one hour!

God bless him!

I hope he has a contract too and waits a least a month before taking on the Homosexual Lobby.

Cal,

If you even bother to lurk here anymore, I just want to congratulate you and Dr. Keyes on an outstanding show! You've reached so many people with a strong pro-life message tonight--not people listening to a Christian radio station or reading a conservative leaning web site, but a vast cross section of "ordinary" Americans.

Kudos on a job well done! You're doing the Lord's work.

Best always,

THAT will be one to see for sure!

And tape! (Wish I had thought to tape tonights.)

Evil resides in every human heart. It is a universal condition, not a condition of foreigners only.

To put the evil of September 11, in which 3000 people died, in perspective:

1) each day around 4000 American children die as a result of abortion; that's over 1 WTC attack each day, every day, for 29 years. Total: around 40,000,000

2) each month around 5000 Iraqi children die as a result of sanctions; that's over 1 WTC attack a month, every month, for 10 years. Total: at least 500,000

Question: Consider the three numbers, 3000, 500,000, and 40,000,000. Which tragedy incurs the greatest wrath from America? Which tragedy incurs the greatest wrath from Almighty God?

I thought the show tonight was much improved over last night. Dr. Keyes was more relaxed, his pace was somewhat slower and he let his guests have their say. He obviously spent some time and put some thought into ways to improve his on camera personage.

As for choice of topics, IMHO, he should examine each and every topic dear to our conservative hearts which has been "suppressed" by the PC crowd. Abortion was a good start.

Bring on the tough subjects, Dr. Keyes! The Twenty-First Century is a "target rich environment" for you to bring conservative issues back into the great American dialogue!

The Liberal/Socialist/Marxist PC crowd think they have won the battle for the soul of America. Not so! I believe that with Dr. Keyes leadership, we conservatives can capture the hearts and minds of the American public and restore our Constitution. The rest will take care of itself.

If you have specific requests for subject matter, I am sure Dr. Keyes and his staff will be delighted to hear them.

Keyes rocks and the show must succeed. Now, having said that let me jump in with some mild criticism. I think that he, and more likely it is the producers who push him in this direction, he tries too hard. Trying too hard for cuteness, for likeability and the artificiality of this effort shows. If the intended audience (and that's not me as I'm never the intended audience,) doesn't notice it, that's great!

The show must succeed and when it does it will send a strong message to the networks. See, Tom and Peter and Dan and their bosses can easily dismiss the succeess of O'Reilly, by saying to each other in their hermetic little circle that O'Reilly is a crude little vulgarian populist, while they, it goes without saying, are the sophisticates, why they attend gallery openings, Park Avenue parties and so on. But Keyes? They won't dismiss him, they'll censor themselves when talking and thinking about him (think of it as positive side effects of political correctness,) and if the show succeeds, the message will be too plain to ignore: conservatism is popular on television. If nothing else, the apolitical advertisers will notice.
