The show still lacks zip but I'll shock the Keyesters I usually wrestle with tonight. I think his handling of the abortion discussion was terrific. If that demeanor was used to take that message to all possible venues, he would do wonders for the pro-life movement. He definitely did a great job with it.

I'm not that familiar with Dobson, but I guess I will be.

I like Alan Keyes. But why is he smiling so much? He looks a little strange!

He talked about how the guests where saying the worst thing about 9-11 was the taking of innocent life. He said he agreed and then brought up the parallels with abortion.

Please don't tell me he made the "abortion is a form of terrorism" argument. Kinda. He began saying that we are horrified by 9/11 because it was an assault on innocent civilians. Then he asked, is this type of violence so unfamiliar to us? Etc.
Let's face it. No talk show host, except for the hosts of religious programs, talk like this. This is unprecedented.

He always smiles too much. I taped all of the debates and he has always done it.
I pay it no mind now.

What a pleasant surprise to see Rev. Joe Watson who I knew briefly when he lived in Virginia! His focus on the miracle of life evidenced by his new grandchild was a sharp contrast to the callousness of the pro-abortion woman. Dr. Dobson on now talking about evil: not the loss of buildings but the loss of human life.

I have to say that I am thrilled by the way Mr. Keyes made his argument tonight. The young Georgetown student looked like she was thinking
really hard about what he was saying and how she was going to try and defend her "pro-choice" stance. The poor girl has been fed a line for most of her formative years; and Mr. Keyes has gently shown her that her "teachers" have been lying to her.
She looked like she was about to break down and cry. I hope she spends the rest of tonight thinking about what Mr. Keyes was saying.
Go Alan Keyes !! Liberals all over America are foaming at the mouth...

I don't have cable. I'd like to read his abortion comments. Does anyone know if transcripts are available on the 'net?

But these little people are easy to browbeat, and Alan is so passionately anti-abortion that he simply took over the segment. The good thing tonight was that the pro-abortion woman laid out all the usual pro-abortion arguments that you hear every day. And Alan demolished them. No one from Planned Parenthood would do this because they know they'd be destroyed. So it's good to have some pro-abortion Zeppo Marx out there.
To: Ligeia
Thanks for the report. I shall have to sit down and watch this show. The one thing I worry about is that Keyes will so completely decimate anyone who comes onto the show in opposition that eventually no leftists will agree to appear.
To: carenot
They left cannot allow Alan to stay on the air. Watch for howls from the media and usual suspects tommorow. And now Dobson is going after Barbara Boxer for her comments on abortion. Oh geezz....I wish Alan had waited a week or two and gotten a following before stirring up the liberal hive this bad.

The young Georgetown student looked like she was thinking really hard (about being pro-abortion) To put it mildly. She looked like she was going to throw up.

eventually no leftists will agree to appear. Now, there's a thought!
