I have a question for you and your word mavens.

I was reading Newsweek over the weekend and for the first time, I saw the word "Quaeda" used without the "al" in front of it.

And I also saw it written "Arba Queada."

What is the meaning of that word as it stands alone? Thanks in advance for any help you all can be.
