Not to mention the expressway turns in the mtns. Coming from Michigan, I'm not that used to Mtn driving. The only thing close to mountains here are in the Western UP - "Porcipine mtns"...about 1500-2000 ft in elevation. Over by Breezewood...tunnels!

As for football - I'll never forget this year when those wolverweenies in Ann Arbor came up to East Lansing, and we beat them at the buzzer!!!:D

Take Monday off, stay another day. (I'm sure you've thought of that, and can't).

How's that, Gabz? Display of the Canadian flag isn't allowed? (Actually, that WOULD surprise me if it wasn't allowed).

It's not allowed without permission. The Canadian chapter of the smokers organization FORCES was contacted by the government to remove the flag from their website. Of course no other website is being so coerced with threats of lawsuits - but it is interesting!!!

A number of the other FORCES chapters outside of Canada are adding the flag as a show of solidarity. Including FORCES International and FORCES Italy which are run by a Candian who lives in Italy!!!

thanks guys - appreciate your input - I'm not going to doo anything about it, except maybe splane to these people that they need to be a bit more circumspect.

something I wish someone would explain to the folks promoting this debacle:

How to Win a GIANT Tobacco Verdict.

I don't care what anyone's stand is on smoking - this is over the line as far as I am concerned. As a poster pointed out - the conference begins with cocktails and heavy hors d'oevres!!! Which one will they hit first after they finish with tobacco (they've already started on guns)?????
