Are you saying that as soon as Christ died on the cross, that the "elect" were automatically saved? Because you appear to be stating that if he did die for each and every one, then each and every one are saved due to his death on the cross.
Christ died for each and every one in order to reconcile man to himself.
His death did NOT make salvation automatic (don't exclude the resurrection) for the "elect" or "all" or "non-elect" or what-have-you.
Well, I don't know about rdb3, but I was saved from the foundation of the world:
Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world.For God most certainly foreknew who would be saved and he furthermore predestined them according to election (Romans 8:28-31). What shall you say? If God is for me, then who can be against me? My God, who is greater than all, who has given me to the Son, shall not let any one snatch me from His hands. And this my Lord Jesus has surely said to me: "I am your salvation."
Thus, I can rest in the wonder of Him!
