What he has to say is sometimes "strident", and often misunderstood, but this has been the lot of the prophet in times past just as it is today.

On what basis do you use the word 'prophet' in conjunction with the_doc? Also, please tell me what you see as the difference between 'strident' and 'arrogant'? You think the_doc's conclusion that I am not a Christian is not being judgmental about something for which he has no knowledge, yet my comments about his lack of reasoning skills is somehow 'unChristian'? I have not attacked the status of his salvation, and have no intention of doing so, because I don't know.

Re. 629.

Prophet: One having been gifted by the Holy Spirit with the gift of prophecy.

"Strident" versus "arrogant": Easily demonstrated on this thread. the_doc's posts have been "strident" (forceful, but not stepping over the line into un-Christlike behavior), your posts have been "arrogant" (offensive, punitive, and insulting).
