Re. 594.

Sorry to touch a raw nerve. I was trying to find a little common ground, but it looks as if I failed miserably. Yes, there are some groups who hold to eternal security that are not Baptist, but the vast majority of them hold to a reformed theology. It is a rare (non-Baptist) bird who believes in eternal security and is not an absolute-predestinarian.

Therewas no raw nerve touched. I, more than most, do not take these debates personally. They are mostly exercises in in logical thinking; something at which I excell, thanks to God-given gifts and talents. Aditionally, I think it is error to equate Calvinism with reformed theology, even if many Calvinistic churches have the word 'Reformed' in their names. Although I can in no way be considered a Calvinist, I also would not consider myself to be a flaming Armenian, either. I am a Christian, first and foremost.

I never said that a Baptist couldn't get it right once in a while. LOL.
