No my friend I do not think we have a meeting of the minds on this..but that is ok with me..

I believe in Irrestible Grace..and I would say that rich young ruler had an intellectual understanding of who Christ is (like much of the professing church) .....but ....well nuf said on that . Saying no was never an option for me..Who can stand in the presence of a Holy God and walk away?

Lucifer did! Why is it you always seem to forget that two creatures (Lucifer and Adam) had free will (no depravity in either one) and still rejected God!

What is this rose colored glasses view of reality? If you have this idea you do not walk away from God, then why do you still sin? Calvinists never address the sin issue after salvation. Are you Predestinated to do that also (directive will). In other words God wants you to sin-right!

Since you and I choose to sin and walk away from God now, when we have His Holy Spirit in us-how can this be?
