He allowed Adam to do as He willed. Just as He lets you do as you will. The question is never one of will ,it is always one why man wills the way he does. God chose to allow Adam to do as he willed without intervention.

Did you intend to capitalize the second 'He' in the first sentence? It does make a difference.

Apparently you would agree that Adam knew he was sinning when ate the forbidden fruit. If so, and it also appears that you agree that Adam could exercise 'free will' in making decisions, I am at a loss to understand why you maintain that pre-destination is Biblical, at least as it relates to the salvation of individuals? The only conclusion I can reach is that one, or both, of us misunderstands the Calvinist position on pre-destination.

In the end, it matters little since we have both accepted Jesus Christ into our lives as our Savior; so eternal life is assured for both of us. The rest is nothing more than an excuse for friendly debate.

Does't matter if we speak about God's permissive will.

No I did not intend to captilize the second H..that being said...I will say one more time:>)) God lets man do just what he wants to do..He allowed Adam to do as he wanted to do..He could have changed Adam or the circumstances to change that event but HE didn't . His inaction predestined the events that followed...the same as it does today.

You have read the books *grin* I have not..but you know that I believe that God chose me,I could not and would not have ever given it a thought without God's grace.......

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

On the day that you came to Christ could you have said no and walked away?
