"It is predestination, but not to salvation but to being a part of the Church, the Body of Christ."

Pray tell, how can one be a "part of the Church" and not enjoy salvation? Are you making this stuff up as you go along? Do you realize how silly it sounds?

The only thing 'silly' is your efforts not to understand. The issue in predestination is not salvation but where one resides in the Plan. Ofcourse all church are saved, but they are not Israel or Gentiles either,(who are also saved but not members of the church)(1Cor.10:32) they are predestinated to be part of the Bride of Christ, His body.

I realize this is foreign to Calvinists since they make everyone members of the church, both the Old and New Testament. While everyone is part of the family(Eph.3:15) of God, there are three different groups in that family (Jew, Gentile and Church)

Even so, come Lord Jesus

Do you suppose he means the "visible" church as opposed to the "Bride of Christ"? And I do mean "opposed" to..

Just silliness here Jerry....to my mind "predestination "to much of that church is predestination to hell .. (sadly so)
