He can drink with us, discuss politics with us, laugh with us, and whatever he wants, and the Calvinist message remains the same:

There's a big, black hole in the Atheist chronology in 33 AD. There is no way around it. Something happened. Something incredible. Something without which History does not make sense.

That's what we preach to atheists. That historical fact, in and of itself, has changed lives. Brought down empires. Re-written history.
And the atheist has to do something with that. His historiography just does not make sense without it.
