Truth can be found in many places

Indeed. As can error.

If one day, out of love, you finally choose to cleave to that transcendent truth you find appears over and again -- to varying degrees -- in all manner of human faith, philosophy and ideology, it's possibly you may find it incumbent upon you to start stripping away what errors sometimes accompany the truth "in many places".

At that point, you'll have begun to exercise the full measure of your freedom by taking responsibility for choosing deliberate actions that focus you on and obligate you to the truth you so desire. You'll have found the rock-solid foundation of orthodoxy on which you can rest to gain real strength and finally stand -- feet on the ground, eyes on the stars -- to begin your real journey.

You know full well -- and rightly so -- that you've arranged bits of truth from your survey like lily pads on which you can stand (a moment here, a moment there) and yet be supported as long as you're light on your feet.

But you are a substantive sort. No one of these shards of truth is going to hold your full weight for any length of time. I think that's why you spend so much time fencing ... you must keep moving or you'll sink and you know it.

No. One simply seeks new spices to add to the stew.
