Thinking about it over night I have concluded that when you assert that Christ did not die for the OT saints, you are the one saying that they are all in Hell.
From my morning prayer time:
Psalm 143:2 And enter not into judgment with Thy servant, for in Thy sight shall no man living be justified. It is just silly for you to assert that anybody under the law could obtain salvation:
Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law, no flesh shall be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.Your view will have a very hard time explaining this verse as well:
Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world. The OT saints are justified exactly as the NT saints; they look forward in faith to Christ and we look back, just as I said.
You're telling me that Abel--before God announced His plan for Christ, before any scripture was written, before anything similar--knew about Christ and His plan for crucifixion?
He's in Heaven because he walked and talked with God personally, and obeyed Him.
