It strikes me that omnipotence really makes the other 2 insignificant. If God is all powerful, then he doesn't need to know

So are you of the school that believes God "chooses" not to know..He just sort of lets things run themselves??

No, I've thought about that but it isn't necessary. God's power can make anything God envisions come to pass. He's chosen to do so over time.

My point isn't that God doesn't choose to look at any individual's future. My point is that individual decisions are irrelevant to God's plans and timetables. He has the power to make them turn out His way no matter what any human being decides. It's sort of like the "all things work together for good..." passage.

He can bring about his plan even if Mary does say "no" to the angel Gabriel. And he could have done it and still met the timing predicted by Daniel.
