Romans 2
"4": Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
"5": But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
This scripture explains that it is God's intention and ability that leads us to repentance...It does not explain that if I am already saved and then make a decision to not repent for new sins, that I have never been saved in the first place.
Romans 2;5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
This scripture explains that if because of a hard and unrepentant heart, I make a decision to not to ask God for forgiveness...then I am storing up wrath for myself....It does not explain that if I am already saved and then make a decision to not repent for new sins, that I have never been saved in the first place.
Your position was that if after being saved, I do not seek forgiveness from God for transgressions then I never was saved in the first place.
I would like you to show all of us two[2] scriptures that make it plain...that if a believer does not repent of his sins then he never recieved salvation in the first place.
