What if after I am already saved, I do not repent for a transgression...what happens then? Does God wink at my sin and look the otherway?

God never winks at sin. My sin and it's penalties were paid for on the Cross of Calvary.

Then what good is repentance after you are saved? Why do I need to ask for forgiveness if I transgress again?
