So why do you assume agreement with any government?

Most here on FR do not "assume" anything. Nor do We necessarily agree with all things our government does. Most of us agree that some government is necessary in order for a quarter of a billion people to function without anarchy. Are you an anarchist?

Well, until a better way of governing a country comes along, I stick with this one. In the western democracies we are free to do almost anything. But without laws and rules things will turn into chaos.
