This is a good example of a piece of pure BS written by Debka is dangerous. Many of Debka's defenders bemoan the people here who voiciferously attack its falsehoods, saying that if people don't like it, they should simply not read it and quit the attacks.

Rubbish.

False stories have a tendency to get picked up by other news organizations, and before you know it, it seems to have some credibility because it's been "widely-reported."

It's the same thing that happened this weekend with the reports that Saudi Arabia has asked the US to leave the airbase there. It's completely false, but many here believe it because a headline said so.

The numbers mentioned make this story totally bogus...sorry. But the only possible truth to this would be 5 to 10 helicopter flights, which would have brought out 100 men max. 5000 Pakistani fighters don't fly out like this. The story is nutty...possibly planted by a bunch of Indian politicans.

I read a similar report back somewhere on the Internet in November!!! I also read it here on FR during November. They were supposedly using C-17 cargo planes, I believe. The article intimated that the U.S. had to know about it because we controlled the airspace even at that time. So, Debka or not, the story was already told in November -- 2 months ago.
