I believe it does (plan to see it this weekend).

But, IMO, the real story is the fact that despite the foul-ups of the Clinton Administration (this incident is what truly turned me into a member of the "right-wing conspiracy" that Hillary referred to), the troops, for the most part, accomplished the mission.

They were heroes, who were, sadly, not given the tools to accomplish the job they had been given with fewer casualties. The responsibility lies with Aspin and Clinton, not the CO of TF Ranger.

I couldn't put the book down either. It's absolutely riveting.

I agree completely that responsibility for this mess rests with Aspin and Clinton. The commander asked for armor support and was refused. There was inadequate air cover. Because there was no US armor or mech infantry to react instantly, it took hours to organize a UN rescue convoy.

The Rangers and Delta boys fought heroically in incredibly tough cirumstances.
