To: Travis McGee; all
Ok, ok. I am distressed by the Magaw recess appointment....and with the FBI chief and CIA chief now in power. They are all Clinton holdovers and, as such, can be regarded with nothing but contempt.

I also did not like the term "homeland defense" before it was chosen - because to me it smacks of USSR-like statism. It nauseates me every time I hear it used.

I see cave in after cave in by the Bush administration to the leftists who are out to destroy them - and us.

It is all distressing.

AND YET ......

Are you all in agreement that it would have been better for this country, for our freedoms, if Algore had succeeded in his massive election fraud scheme in 2000?

Those were our only choices.

Further, at the least, Bush had been out in the private sector before his run for Governor of Texas - and it had not been as a trial lawyer sucking the life blood out of assorted deep pocket entities as one NC Senator did before he rose to political power - John Edwards.

Yes, he did grow up as an "insider" in the government - with his Dad as CIA Chief, VP and then as President.

So, he has a built in "trust" of government.

And, being one of the elite, he has not had enough experience of being rousted for being just an ordinary American who loves freedom, our Constitutioinally guaranteed but God given human rights, and the opportunity to take care of one's self and one's family without massive interference from the government. But he had SOME experience being in the private sector for a number of years - as opposed to every single Clintonoid you can find who is either on the government payroll for life (ala Clinton) or a trial lawyer (ala Clinton) or both (ala Clinton).

Further, I have never seen proof that President Bush treasures - is allied with - is in total foreful agreement with the communist/Marxist/Stalinist/Maoist ideology - as we know both Bill and Hillary Clinton did/do. Perhaps you don't think that difference in ideologies matter - I do.

Finally, we have been through one year now of the Bush administration. We have not had the massive destruction of our national security at the hands of this President - just the opposite - as we did under Clinton which was documented by one Gary Aldrich - in the White House.

Neither have we had sleepoverrs and coffees for cash, drug addicts with top security clearances, free sex happening in every nook and cranny of the White House by all sorts of "partners", etc, etc, ad nauseum.

Neither have we had the firing of every single U.S. Attorney as Clinton did his first weeks in office...which we know was opening the door to massive corruption at will and covering up previous corruption while Clinton was Governor of ARkansas.

Neither do we have any accusations that President Bush treats women with anything less than the highest respect.

Further we have a man who publicy professes his faith in Jesus Christ - and then lives his life in a "Godly" way - which is one of the things that makes so many of the "Bush babes" attracted to him. He is the opposite of the Clinton sleazoid and the epitome of courtesy, kindness, strength, and integrity....all character traits that were sorely lacking for eight long years.

Finally - it is obvious - the Hitlery minions are out to destroy him - however they can. If he were walking in league with the Demonrats, why would that be true?

I know, I know - the globalist thing - and the National ID - all those are important concerns. Extremely important.

But what if this is what is going on. What if Bush has many Clinton holdovers all around him - and they are the ones obviously with the most experience - and the most recent experience - in whatever it is function required. Obviously, he has Tenet and the FBI guy advising him - and Bush takes people at their word - and relies on their advice. He sees it as no problem to appoint experienced people recommended by his Clinton holdovers because HE CANNOT IMAGINE THE HIDEOUSNESS OF THE CRIMES COMMITTED UNDER CLINTON!

This is true of most of the "elite" in the political circles sadly....the ones who are not actually doing the damage....They simply are naive....not believing any American "President" or "Senator" or "political party" could possibly commit the murders that occurred under the Clinton reign of terror, for instance. They side with "the government" because they just do not think the government could be that "evil."

I supported President Bush in 2000 and will do so in 2004 because the other options mean the destruction of our country. Further, if we could get Republicans in the Senate in 2002 majority - we would be able to get GOOD appointees through Congress. As it is right now, every appointee is compromised - almost - by the Dasshole team.

Again, please don't try to give all the arguments against Bush here. I have followed them and are aware of them.

With Harpo-I knew President Bush was not as conservative and freedom loving as I would want in a President. But there is no comparison in personal integrity and honor between this President and his team and the last one. IN other words - character matters.

I do think President Bush has unfortunately surrounded himself with some advisors who scoff at the concerns for personal freedom expressed by many on this thread. But that is not the same as actively going after one's enemies either with the IRS or with other government "stormtroopers."

I have been one who has been pleading for the Bush team to go after the Clinton crimes - but again - must remember - that the Clintonoids purposefully LOADED the lower echelons of eveyr executive Branch with their people who could not be asked to leave because they were in "protected" categories.

How would YOU behave given those circumstances if you were in President Bush's spot?

sorry for the fingernails across the blackboard grammatical error: I have followed them and am aware of them is better.

(I know - were other errors - but this was the worst.)

Thanks in advance for your courtesy. By the way, Uncle Bill - thanks for all your work through the years.

Oh,well. That makes it all ok. None of that other stuff about violating the US Constitution, greasing the skids for a quick slide towards a police state, protecting the previous criminal occupants from the WH from being investigated, ignoring voter fraud, wanting to make instant citizens out of millions of illegal aliens, and leaving known criminals in charge of gooberment agencies matter. I don't know WHAT I had been thinking. Please forgive me!

Given a choice, with no possibility to refuse, I'd rather have to drink a glass of 1% arsenic every day than a glass of 10% cyanide.

But don't try to convince me it's healthy.

Nice rant; but some of us would rather hate having a Dem president that doesn't uphold the Constitution, than hate having a Rep president that doesn't uphold the Constitution.
