Tell me free, who is the lucky guy that gets to decide what our privileges and immunities are? And where does the BoR refer to him?

How you pull the notion that ALL state laws must conform with each other out of "No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States..", is not only beyond me, but beyond just about every respected constitutional scholar.

If this was the case Free, why was it recognized as absolutely constitutional for some states to keep a ban on alcohol after the 21st Amendment?

You want to know why?

Because prohibition is a STATE matter. Jeez, just look at the laws of each state that were first enacted. Do you REALLY think that the First state laws, with founders as authors, were consistent from state to state? LOL

No State can ban the possession or consumption of alcohol, and I dare you to find me even a county that does.

Are you serious? I mean, really? Its almost like you are denying that what I posted is the wording of Section 1 of the 14th Amendment. The STATE licenses you to drive. I believe the 9th and 10th Amendments allow the States to do this. Thats considered to be a priveledge of the State. An immunity is other side of the coin. CCW's obviously fall into this category, although we both know the government does not respect any Constitutional right, let alone a State license(which I dont need in the first place according to the BoR). IF California gives a "license" to possess cannabis(although I do not believe I have to have one), then no State can deny you the right to use cannabis anywhere. Why is this so hard? Its ok for driver's licenses, but nothing else? Makes no sense.
