To a point, but start a thread about prayer before a football game and Libertarians flock to that thread against such an abuse of tax dollars, eventhough no extra tax dollars were really spent. Believe me, there is a lot more vigor involved on the part of Libertarians when it is religious speech.
I'm sorry, I don't believe you. This doesn't sound like libertarians to me, it sounds like garden-variety leftists. Leftist types are the ones who seem like: if you are using tax dollars, then absolutely no religion can be presented (unless it's not Christianity in which case that's okay). Libertarians would rant about the socialist school system, how if parents actually paid tuition things would be better, how the government school monopoly dumbs kids down, etc. Some kid who says a prayer over the loudspeaker at a football game is not what chaps off libertarians.
