Buck, that's not Limbaugh's show. He's a geek for the mechanics of Washington politics and Big Media. That's his interest, that's his focus and he's very, very good at it. He's not going to present a white paper on the historical intent of the 2nd Amendment, he's going to expose how the gun-control lobby exploits events to further their cause. He doesn't want to spend hours debating the legality of the income tax, he wants to illustrate and analyze the political environment that influences the discussion of, and resulting legislative impact, of tax policy.
You are not the only person who has felt neglected by talk stations that consider any host who thinks that the Bill of Rights is a topic worth exploring is a risk. You know who hosts the most dynamic, growing, and dominant (in its time slot) political talk show on radio today? Michael Savage. He is increasingly dominating the percentage audience share in his markets and time slots to an extent that even Rush can't touch. Don't despair Buckeroo ... Savage often pisses me off because I'm a GOP "regular", but the guy is compelling, thought-provoking, talented and I listen to him every time I can. Buck, your voice and concerns, and those of the many here at FR who are sick of all the lard-asses in DC regardless of party, are gaining an increasing audience and influence. Savage isn't a fringe kook, he's a highly educated guy who uses common sense and a complete disregard of political correctness to make observations we ALL see, but that would never be permitted to be articulated anywhere else by anyone else.
