We know that there was legislation rammed through the Senate that helped American Airlines and helped Northwest, and she is their paid lobbyist. Now, you can put the dots on the paper and you can put names to the dots. You can draw lines and put dollar signs on the page. If you do that, it all matches up, right? Tom Daschle never recused himself over any appearance of a conflict or the existence of a real conflict. Yet guess who has recused himself in the Enron investigation: John Ashcroft. The man received a donation for a losing Senate campaign!
Based on Linda Daschle's connections to this multi-billion dollar boon for the airline industry, which won them not only bailout money but took the burden of paying for security off of them and shifted it to the American taxpayer, why isn't there an investigation of this?
