Rev. Peterson Ready To Lead Event in L.A. On Dr. Kings Birthday
Los Angeles Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND (Brotherhood Organization of A New Destiny) today named the speakers for the upcoming THIRD ANNUAL NATIONAL DAY OF REPUDIATION OF JESSE JACKSON, which will take place on Monday, January 21, 2002, from 12 noon till 2 PM PST, in front of the offices of Jacksons Rainbow/PUSH organization, at 5750 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles. Rev. Peterson has been warning the nation about Jacksons lack of moral character and questionable business practices for over a decade. Rev. Peterson is accusing the civil-rights leader of squandering his opportunity to uplift black Americans and improve race relations. Rev. Peterson says, Jacksons racist and thug-like conduct over the past thirty years has severely damaged race relations and nearly destroyed black Americans. The BOND leader says he is committed now more than ever to getting the truth out about Jackson. Rev. Peterson will be one of the speakers at this event.
Other speakers for the Third Annual National Day of Repudiation of Jesse Jackson are: Jane Chastain, Author, Syndicated Columnist and Radio Talk Show Host; Terry Anderson, Immigration Control Activist and Radio Talk Show Host; Ted Hayes, Activist for the Homeless and Radio Talk Show Host; and Pastor Wiley Drake of the First Southern Baptist Church of Buena Park.
Recent reports have stated that Jacksons empire is crumbling, and that his power and influence have been vastly diminished since the Clintons left office. Rev. Peterson added, Jackson can no longer hide behind Bill Clinton and Janet Reno, he is exposed and we must continue to shine the light of truth on this wicked and arrogant man. Peterson is asking all Americans of goodwill to support his efforts by attending the event.

Recent reports have stated that Jacksons empire is crumbling, and that his power and influence have been vastly diminished since the Clintons left office. It's a little too soon for the Reverand's political obituary. Only today, the Reverand was interviewed on CNBC like an elder statesman in a serious interview on how Wall Street can be made to be more inclusive. As long as the Media treats the Reverand as a serious politician and doesn't ignore him for being the class envy baiting huckster that he is, his power and influence will not diminish. He will be able to continue to extort money from Fortune 500 companies to sustain his operations and his lavish lifestyle.

Jesse Lee is da Bomb! Keep up the pressure on a guy who does more damage to the plight of African Americans than anybody. Another year or two, and the "Reverend" will be a footnote in the past.

This would certainly be a good event for anyone in the area. It would also be nice if Mercuria or one of the West Coasters could arrange an interview with Rev. Peterson. Most importantly, it would be nice if Rev. Peterson could gather a groundswell of folks who would help him achieve his goal: the utter repudiation of Jesse Jackson as a spokesman for anything but disgruntled rabble.

Are there any true black leaders these days? It would seem to me that with 1 out of every 3 black men destined for prison on a drug related charge, the first thing on a true black leader's agenda would be the WOD. Yet, most of them consider themselves drug warriors, all proud to put the fathers of the next black generation in prison and take away their right to vote because they choose to smoke marijuana or snort cocaine, or make $1000.00 a week dealing a little rather than minimum wage at Burger Chef King. Legalization removes all of these problems at once, but I hear no brave new black voices being raised in a call for freedom.
