When you take into account the BILLIONS of galaxies, the BILLIONS of stars in each galaxy, the planets that orbit each of those stars. The chances of the earth developing intelligent life get pretty good actually. If you put all this together, there are probably MILLIONS of intelligent life forms in the universe, that quite accidentally, evolved into intelligent creatures.

When there are THAT many galaxies, and that many stars, and that many planets, earth is right in there as far as the possibility of life evolving, and since it did, yo, we won the lotto!!!
