Well, #1 you've confused his postion on trade. All he and many others have wanted is FAIR TRADE along with the free trade. Basically, all he wants from our trading partners is the same deal we give them. China and Japan are notorious for putting tariffs on American goods while at the same time they're paying off (lobbying?) our politicians to give them all sorts of trade preferences. This results in trade deficits and the loss of millions of wealth-creating manufacturing jobs that had been the foundation of America's middle class.
On immigration, all he wants is a time out on the almost unlimited illegal immigration that has become a cancer on the average tax paying American. Do you enjoy seeing billions of CURRENT tax dollars go to house, feed, educate and medicate these people while we continue to heap billions of DEBT on the shoulders of upcoming generations.
