I have no idea what you are talking about. Your point, if you have one, escapes me. My point (for folks with an obtuse world view) is that most Americans view Buchanan as a wacko. Pat's own behavior (e.g., as the Reform Party candidate) has done much to cement the view.
Because Pat is a wacko, any idea that he endorses is, therefore, branded as wacko.
In reality, I think you probably understood my original point very well, but are loathe to admit that it is true.

"Pat is a wacko and any idea he endorses is branded by wacko". Buchanan is plenty well-respected and is a best-selling author, and well-paid commentator. Prima facie evidence that your view is wrong.
