Holy cow !! The dumocrats are knee deep in Enron!
This is getting good.
Big cash for dumocraps trumps the Bush administration, "big time", Mr. Leiberman.

I have heard that the democrats are a hate group too! Hummm....
I guess the democrats are just on the take!

I sent this baby to Rush. Hope he uses it. It's a pretty good find.
These are the largest Enron donations so far.

Democrats, frantic for any issue with which to belabor a hugely popular president, seize on Enron, though it is a tar baby more likely to end up sticking to themselves. The innuendo will be that questionable financial practices are like Bush's budget policies. A few older and wiser heads are warning them on this one, but they are desperate. Have they forgotten the media arm of their party no longer has total control over public dissemination of information? They bashed Republicans with some success as scandal mongers during the Clinton years. Now they are setting themselves up as nasty and petty blame - game types, while the president remains serenely above it all, a great "bipartisan" leader.

PS..I wonder if this is the kind of info Waxman is looking for.

"Holy cow !! The dumocrats are knee deep in Enron!"
Amazing how slow the major media voices are in reporting the facts. . .

I'm beginning to think it would be easier to list anyone who DIDN'T get money from Enron!

Like Rush said all last week, if the democrates continue to investigate this Enron mess, they're going to find more dirt on themselves than on Bush and Cheney. Bush and Cheney are honest men and a good number of the Rats are not. I say too, keep on looking into this because it only reflects back on Rats and the Clintoons. Maybe finally Bill and Hillary will get theirs!

Stupid Democrats.
They will soon find that when Lanny Davis (Bill Clinton apologist) said to not try
to smear Dubya over Enron...he had good reasons to warn his buddies off the subject.

It would appear that the dem's tacticts are starting to backfire--with the help of their allies in the media. There was no story to begin with--a major corporation folds that happens to give money to the repubs. Everyone knows the republicans are evil and greedy, just like the corporations that prop them up. No news there. Then the 'man bites dog' angle creeps in when it is discovered that the pure-as-the-driven-snow democrats have been soaking up Enron money, too. Now that's worth reporting.

These reporters should focus on the illegal activities of ENRON and Artur Anderson. Ken Lay can contribute to who ever he wants and it's perfectly legal. I realize they are trying to show who could of been influenced, but the fact is, NOBODY was.
When the Sec. of Commerce Don Eveans was asked to consider delaying ENRON's ratings report, Evens did the right thing and denied his request. The same can be said for the Sec. of Treasury Paul O'Niel. The focus should be on the Accounting firm of "Arthur Anderson" who cooked the books and deceived the investors and the lenders of ENRON.
This attempt to link the Bush Administration to the collapse of ENRON is a joke and will probably back-fire on the democrats. If ENRON's history is looked into closely it will expose more of Clinton's corrupt tenure at the White House. After looking into some of ENRON's overseas deals, (especially India), The "quid-pro-quo's" involving Clinton and ENRON will not help their case.

Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs is a big Democratic Law Firm that is headquartered in Louisville, KY. They are big in the corrupt politics of KY. It is no surprise they are allied with Al Gore to anyone who knows anything about KY politics.
The Arkansas bunch are rookies compared to how things work in KY and those in TN are mere neophites. BCCI runs right through the middle of KY if you want to look at who some of the players were and some of the games that went on. A look at former Gov. Wallace Wilkinson's bankruptcy would be instructive too and who some of the players were in that mess.
The only problem is that Louisville Courier-Journal and Lexington Herald-Leader are totally in the pocket of the Dems and everyone is afraid to talk about what really goes on in this cespool of a state.
