If you oppose his massive federal education bill and Kennedy-hugging behavior, you must be "for the terrorists." If you are against the expansion of farm subsidies, social programs, or any other pet pork projects, you must be "for the terrorists." Because we are "at war" Bush and that "CONSERVATIVE" Republican Party can grow the federal government to heights Clinton and Gore could only dream about.
The military is one of the enumerated and restricted areas that is permitted by the Constitution for Federal spending. Education is NOT! What would Gore have done differently than Bush? Spent less? Investigated Clinton's crimes? Once again, there is little discernable difference in the way the 2 Parties govern. Any real differences are simply in the rhetoric and promises. And the federal beat goes on.......
