I do prefer Julian Simon's 'The Ultimate Resource 2' though. His personality comes through in his optimism about the ability of the human mind to create solutions. Of course, Lomborg was led to the subject by Simon's work - as an opponent - and converted when he tried to refute Simon's argument - and found he couldn't. A great story in itself and anecdotal evidence of Lomborg's commitment to honest scientific inquiry (and he is a real rarity in another sense as well - he's an honest lefty).
I may someday post an article on Simon's presentation about the nuclear waste non-problem.
