Where there is secrecy, there is no truth; where there is no truth, there is no justice; where there is no justice, there is no freedom. ( Where there is no competition there is no accountability - as witnessed in our political system)

Based on the title alone, this might be the largest thread ever on FR. And I can almost guarantee Clinton's name will pop up on every other reply.

insider selling is not made public until months after it happens

Really? Just to check into this, I went to finance.yahoo.com and randomly entered stock symbols to check the insider trading. I found one (DELL) dated 2-Jan-2002 (little over 1 WEEK ago)!

C'mon, Bill. Cut the SPIN and stick to the truth.

The more corruption that is tolerated by the feds, the
weaker the United States becomes. The Clinton administration was flat-out
corrupt, and now the Bush administration seems willing to keep silent on urgent matters.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this.  It gets so grating
on the eyes to read over and over on these boards how superior
the morals of conservatives are to those of liberals, while blithely
dismissing shortcomings on the right.  Shades of "so what?"

No one I know in law enforcement seriously believes that
Attorney General Ashcroft has any interest at all in getting to the
bottom of the Marc Rich pardon given by President Clinton.

The decision by this administration to deny access to
previous presidential records, something even Clinton
did not do, should have been a wakeup call for
independent minds everywhere.

I enjoy Fox but O'Reilly is beginning to sound more and more like an empty tin can. Enron and Cheney? O'Reilly should know by now that the best time to eat crow is when it's warm. Start eating Bill.

I would like someone to name me one agency, branch of government, or court that is not corrupt beyond repair.

Democrats or Republicans - both are POLITICIANS and both are corrupt. Put 'em in a can - shake 'em up and pour one out - you can not tell the difference. The whole lot have one thing in mind - re-election and which lobbyist to have lunch with tomorrow. The bottom line is cash.
