Is it me or does that 'tail' look like a really long finger? Although seemingly odd, this is not uncommon. It could also be a case of in utero canibalism, meaning that a woman originally conceived twins, yet one 'absorbs' the other, and shows remains from the other fetus. This case is a bit more uncommon...

It looks like a finger to me too.The article does not say if it has independent movement or not. That takes shaking your finger at someone to a new level :>)

Good one, I have read about this too. Let us hope this child is not caused any disability by leaving it there.
That is a helluva dingleberry.

To think this brilliance resides so close to me here in Michigan. I'm shaking. Really.

This case is a bit more uncommon...At what stage in the development would this happen? It would seem to have to be before actual organs began to be developed. In any case, I got the cold spinal chills just looking at the picture.

Is it me or does that 'tail' look like a really long finger? Perhaps the child's father made a deal with the devil. You know how the devil always gives you what you ask for but does it in a way that sucks. Perhaps the father wished for a "well endowed" son :-)
