Wishing won't make it so
The Dems are such neophytes at whipping up public frenzy to tie Bush to the Enron collapse they have started an E-Mail campaign pleading (some say threatening) journalists to dig harder.
Don Van Atta Jr., the New York Times go-to guy for scandal connect-the-dot stories must have been on their list.
He's on the case already but is still forced to add the following sentence: "Although no one has suggested Bush has done anything wrong."
Stay Tuned.
Enron boredom looms.

Sound like Bob Beckel's plan to dig up dirt on the members of the electoral college during the Florida election crisis with Begala and Carville? (by using personal dirt)
Does anyone have that email list of all the national reporters that was accidentally published on the net a while back..

Hey guys, go for it!
Sure wish that Ron Brown hadn't taken the bullet. Would love to see him squirm on the stand while pointing to Bill, Al, and hillary

Let's start our own email campaign telling them we want to hear about Denise Rich/Chandra Levy/HillaryGate/blah blah blah. At least President Bush answers his own questions and isn't hiding behind a bunch of crooked lawyers.

The Enron thing leads right back to the Clintons and other Demorats who were big on the "take money" list. Just because money was given in BOTH campaigns, doesn't mean with pointing fingers that anything is wrong. Right now the top people in Enron need to account, and the Demorats better watch out or their money taking during the Clinton years will be all over the news again.

The Hillary vote scandal story will break soon, that is the one I would focus on.

This provides a lightning rod for the liberals who hate Bush. They are going to get themselves all worked about this and expend there energy chasing the proverbial holy grail "impeachment".
In the meantime Bush will continue to go about business. Recess appointment today ?

Are there US voters anywhere who can't recognize this as a wholly unprincipled, hate-motivated smear campaign from the Left?
Send your Democrat-voting friends to FR for insightful articles, columns and discussion on all the news!

The Hillary vote scandal story will break soon, that is the one I would focus on. Fox News reported last night on her PAC, which has collected about a million dollars. One quarter of that has been given to other DemocRATs. Three quarters of it (about $750,000) has been used for "administration". Sounds like a Jesse Jackson operation.

Hopefully, holden, the US voters will realize (and think) that this is just another smear job by the press, just like we had with Xlinton.
Of course, I may be dreaming...but I think people have more important things on their minds, like say, "THE WAR ON TERROR". :-)

I agree with the others who say that the lefties better be careful; this one may end up blowing up in their faces. Far too many Democrats have taken money from Enron and done favors for Enron. Bush hasn't been in office long enough to have really done anything for them.

The libs are beating up on their water boys/girls.... LOL. All the need to do is a little Googling and they could find lots of info about the Clintons/dems and their Enron activities/trips, golf outings, overseas deals....

Let me clarify that last statement before I get set on fire....I didn't mean to insinuate that the Clinton scandals weren't worthwhile (they were), what I meant was that the people didn't care about HIM.....do you understand what I'm saying? I in NO WAY meant that I defend Clinton.

Yeah...like Jean Carnahan, Charlie Rangle, etc....they're all in there. This will hopefully blow up in their faces. Soon.

The Hillary vote scandal story will break soon, that is the one I would focus on. We'll be the only ones focusing on it, 'cause the mainstream news media certainly won't.

"Enron boredom looms." Yep...the RATS are gettin' all flustered and bothered thinkin' they've got Dubyuh on the ropes and this will turn out to be nothing.

I agree with the others who say that the lefties better be carefulI have heard this mentioned but I don't see that the democrats have much to loose. The public will see it as payback for the Clinton investigations. The only people who will be angry are the loyal republicans. The dems will skate away as usual. Unfortunately!
To: codebreaker
We did the same thing during Clinton's time on Pardongate, Monicagate, Chinagate, Whitewater, for the press to "dig harder". Guess it's the GOP's turn in the barrel.....
