That's the problem with "eyewitness accounts." For example, Peter Langan, leader of the ARA, came from solid Irish stock, and yet he was often mistaken for a Mexican; in fact, that is why he adopted the alias Pedro Gomez, and the nom de guerre "Commander Pedro."
The "arab imprint" of this story probably comes from the diversionary tactics employed by the ARA. Bill Guthrie, the Nbr 2 of the ARA, bought one of those Berlitz language courses, and was fond of spouting off Arabic gibberish during ARA bank robberies. The ARA also employed disguises and makeup to disguise their identities. They probably used the same tactics on B-day.
Besides, Michael Brescia is sufficiently "swarthy' to fit the "eyewitness" account of JD2.
So, I don't really need the hysterical ravings of an out-of-work tele-bimbo.
