I believe we investigated that on The Guild. I think the company was owned by an Indian man, with ties to some sort of scandal in India. Perhaps the scandal was the one that Enron got involved in that got them booted out of that country.

I believe that it was an Indian who purchased the company, but I think that it had something to do with a payback for another failed business deal and Enron people helping the Indians get some kind of gov't approval or license.

There are too many crooks. I need a flow chart! LOL!

Indeed. That's why that state has Arlen Spincter for a senator.

There's a book mark option right up under the story before the poster's remarks. It's hard to find - I have to search every time too. (and check Freepmail, please)

LOL! A person after my own heart -- Sports! If it wasn't for sports on TV/radio, I would go nuts with the media. And after what the media did to Bob Stoops over the weekend, sports reporters are not too high on my list either. When I am on the computer I usually have sports on in the background instead of cable news. Lot less stressful. This has been a good week in sports I must admit! Sooners have had a great week too!

Its going to be as interesting to see the Democrat's version. Charges and counter-charges will push back and forth, up and down, here and there, endlessly....and the sheeple will be watching from the sidelines cheering wildly and madly for their side as each score is made against the enemy.....as the opposing side's fans are doing the exact same thing!

And what will you be doing?

Peter Jennings was orgasmic over the Enron story today. He had three angles on it. All three stories pointed out the Bush administration's connections to Enron. In fact, they kept saying that Bush's connections with Enron were "wide and deep." The visuals were also suggestive and reinforced the biased angle of the stories. A headshot of Bush placed next to a head shot of the Enron exec. And then, head shots of all the major republicans who had some contacts with or received contributions from Enron. A short clip of Cheney was also shown. However, they made only a passing mention of democrats receiving Enron contributions.

Thanks for the ping Bigun! I just finished reading this one on the local talk radio. The dummyRATS are calling in left and right saying this is Bush's whitewater. I was amazed I was able to get through the whole thing on the air!

Your post reminded me, before Clinton was ever inaugurated, the clintonista's held a two-day economic summit. I used to have the thing on video tape, but wouldn't you know, I just taped over it last year. Now I wonder what the tape of that summit would yield about Enron?

That was a great game with MD (I was there)! We beat CT this past Monday night, Stoops stayed a Sooner, and OU women beat Oklahoma State women by 18 points last night!

Lay and Clinton - golf partners? How soon before CNN decides it's not a story?
