M.E. Clark and Henry Voss have demonstrated the scientific validity of such a Flood providing the sedimentary layering we see on every continent.

So lemme see. The flood laid down the sediments. How, then, in a few thousand years, were those sediments uplifted and then eroded to form the Dakota Hogback that I drive through on I-70 on the way home from work each evening? How did those sediments get all the way to the top of Mount Everest, where they are tilted? How were those sediments deposited, metamorphized, folded and eroded to form the Valley and Ridge province of Pennsylvania? How did a flood create such a variety of sediments, including terrestial dune sandstones that are hundreds and thousands of feet thick on the Colorado Plateau? More nonsense from the creationist wing that looks to science to justify their views instead of just sticking with their Bibles.

Don't bother, dirtboy. When you see an article alleging that there is a human sandal footprint with trilobites, you're not going to win an argument based on fact and logic.

When I read the assertion that the geologic column is bogus, I knew it was hopeless.

What reasoning do you have for a world wide flood NOT having done this. Do explain this and back it up with facts, not speculation.

I just wastched something about the 'Hovind Theory' that gives plausible explaination to everyone of your questions/observations.

The hogback and Dakota formations were instrumental in me quitting church as a kid because the pastors kept telling me to forget about the fossils and sediment that I could plainly see and to accept contraditory sotires that had no evidence.

The Hovind Theory accounts for sedimentation, folding and uplifting, the Grand Canyon, and many, many other aspects of this debate.

Hovind Theory @ dr dino

This info was new to me, so if you or anyone else has something to say about it, I'm here to learn.
